I’ve written before about how much I love Classy Chocolate Pound Cake, and how much I love that a portion of the proceeds goes to Share Our Strength. My favorite way to prepare Classy Chocolate Pound Cake is to use applesauce in place of about half the butter – it lightens the cake a bit and retains the rich, moist flavor. But as you can see from this video, there’s so much more you can do! So check out the video, then go make yourself a Classy Chocolate Pound Cake – because however you serve it, your family will love it and you’ll love knowing that you made a difference to a hungry child.

I made the cake balls for my daughter’s daycare staff and they LOVED them!!!
I always make my pound cake (both AAPC and CCPC) with yogurt in place of the butter. So moist and a tad bit better for you!
