Helpful Tips & Hints to Consider

For Your Recipes

  • Make sure your recipe includes at least one Tastefully Simple product.
  • Keep it simple! If possible, try to limit your recipe to six or fewer ingredients.
  • Remember, be sure to include your name and put the name of your recipe in the subject line of your email.

For Your Photos

  • We encourage you to include 2-6 photos with your recipe.
  • Please limit the size of each photo to 2MB or less.
  • Avoid showing brand-name labels for your other ingredients in your photos.
  • And above all, have fun!

    Pesto and Tomato Flatbread
    Description:
    Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto, tomato and cheese flatbread

    Ingredients:
    2 4.4oz flatbreads
    2 Tbls Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto Mix
    3 1/2 Tbls olive oil
    1 Tbls Water
    1-2 thinly sliced tomatoes
    1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
    2 Tbls grated roman cheese

    Directions:
    Preheat oven to 400. Prepare Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto Mix as directed on jar with 1 1/2 Tbls olive oil and 1 Tbls water, set aside for 5 minutes. Brush each flatbread lightly with remaining olive oil. Put 1/2 of pesto mixture on each flatbread and spread evenly. Place tomato slices on top of pesto without overlapping. Sprinkle each flatbread with 1/2 of parmesan cheese and 1/2 romano cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes until flatbread is crisp and cheese melts.

    Number Of Servings: Appetizer – about 12, Main dish – 2

    Strawberry Yogurt Fruit Salad

    Ingredients:
    Package of Tastefully Simple’s Sweet Strawberry Cheese Ball Mix
    2 cups fat free plain yogurt
    Sliced strawberries
    Blueberries
    Sliced bananas

    Directions:
    Mix the Sweet Strawberry Cheese Ball Mix and the yogurt together in a medium bowl. Fold in the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and sliced bananas. The more fruit you add, the better!

    Onion Onion Potatoes

    5-6 large baking potatoes
    prepared Onion Onion dip- about 1 cup (I used both sour cream and mayo)
    Bacon
    Cheddar cheese

    Boil potatoes until just done, cool, then peel and cut up in a bowl.
    Toss in prepared onion onion dip
    Toss in a handful of bacon and cheese (really as much as you think you will like)

    Stir until potatoes are coated with the dip.

    Before serving, heat in the microwave until warm and cheese is melted.

    Quick & yummy..
