With the holidays in full swing, it’s nice to have desserts that can please everyone’s palate. This recipe has several variations, which is great for entertaining. You could make up a few batches and create a dessert bar where your guests can pick which one (or ones) they would like to have. However, if your guests are anything like me … they will try them all!
The key for me this holiday season is time. It always gets away from me and I never seem to accomplish as much as I set out to. I love this recipe for its simplicity and the small amount of time it requires.
- English Toffee Cheese Ball Mix
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- ½ cup finely chopped pecans
- 2-3 Tbsp. Malted Cocoa Mix
Combine Packet 1 English Toffee Cheese Ball Mix and cream cheese; chill 2 hours. Shape cheese ball mixture into 1-inch balls; roll some in chopped pecans, some in crumbs from Packet 2 and some in dry cocoa powder. Chill until served. Makes 16-20 truffles.

Tips:
- You can form the cream cheese mixture into a ball around a whole pecan and then roll in one of the toppings.
- Stir finely chopped dried cranberries into the cream cheese mixture.
- Oh My! Chai would make a delicious coating as well.
