True confession: My place is NOT in the kitchen. I hate to admit it, but my husband is the cook of the house for 360 days of the year. I meander into the kitchen on occasion, and I enjoy my time there during the holiday season. I’ve discovered that as I “mature” my time in the kitchen is much more about the art and enjoyment I can share with family and friends. So as I was creating my masterpiece and my son said, “Mom, as far as comparing your stuff to Dad’s … yours is more decorative and beautiful. It wins the show!” what I heard was “Mom, I love your stuff!” Thanks, Alex. I love you too.

Creamy Crab Cheese Ball Wreath
Tips:
- You could skip the imitation crab, but I like the added flavor. Certainly real crab would be a bonus!
- You could garnish the wreath with lemon wedges, carrot or radish flowers, etc. during other seasons.
- Serve with butter crackers.
