Cheeseburger Dip

‘Tis the season for cookouts … and cookout-inspired food. As much as I love a grilled burger, I understand that sometimes you do have to eat other things – like dip that tastes like a grilled burger! You can enjoy this dip outside at a cookout, inside while you watch it rain, on the couch while you watch TV, at someone else’s home … it’s got all the fun of a cookout with less chance of rain and bug bites.

Season ground beef with Everyday Grillin’ Seasoning; brown, drain and cool. Combine dip mix and cream cheese; spread on a serving platter. Cover and chill 2 hours. Top cream cheese mixture with cooled ground beef and next 4 ingredients. Serve cold with crackers. Makes 10-12 servings.

Tips:

  • This is a very fun dip that really does taste like a cheeseburger.
  • If you like raw or fried onions on your cheeseburger, those would be good sprinkled on top of the dip, too.
  • You can finely chop the pickles if you wish to make the dip a little easier to get on a cracker.
  • Crumbled bacon would be delicious sprinkled on top of the dip.
  • Ruffled potato chips make a good dipper along with the crackers.
